Veraison
Veraison is a stage in the ripening process of grapes. It is the relatively short period during which the firm, green berries begin to soften and change color. This is an exciting time to visit Chateau Julien. Veraison has begun and throughout the vineyard one can witness the varied color changes from green to purple as our Sangiovese grapes begin to ripen. As the only fully operating winery on the Monterey County, be sure to book your tour with us and witness all the exciting changes that take place on our vineyard. Click here for more information.
