In the late 1970's, Bob and Patty Brower set out to fulfill their dream. They saw the potential in Monterey County as a quality wine growing region, and in 1982 began building what is now known as Château Julien Wine Estate in Carmel Valley, California. This year they are celebrating 26 years in the wine business.

Coming Soon - Black Nova
Coming soon - 2006 Black Nova. An exquisite blend of 60% Zinfandel and 40% Syrah from our vineyard. Set for a June release in 750ml and 1.5 litre. This wine speaks for itself.
Black Nova is excellent.I have always liked wine but in the last year I have wanted to learn more about the art of wine and wine tasting.This wasn't on the tasting that day but I asked for a pour anyway.Thank Goodness I did because this wine changed my life.I have described the taste as getting a velvet kiss from a blackberry.This wine opened my mind to fine wine.Thank You for the experience.I hope to have many new experiences at Chateau Julian in the future
